Activity 2

How Do Plants Grow?

Teacher Notes

An Interactive Whiteboard can be used to sequence the pictures and record the children's explanations of the different stages in the life-cycle of a plant.

If an Interactive Whiteboard is unavailable 'Talking Tins' are an alternative option.

Following from this activity, the children will need to use the digital camera to photograph the plants they have planted in the school garden. They will need to take photos of various stages of the plant's growth so that they are able to create a presentation with commentary of their own plant's life cycle.
